Debise converted the 820RR’s front-running pace into victory in both races of the Portimão round. The result marked the first double win for ZXMOTO in World Supersport competition.
Changing conditions and close battles demanded consistent pace throughout the weekend. The team’s performance showed that the new programme could compete at the front early in its first international season.
Race development, road relevance
The racing machine is a specialised evolution of the production 820RR platform. Its three-cylinder architecture, lightweight chassis philosophy and advanced electronic control systems form the technical link between the road motorcycle and the WorldSSP project.
Competition gives ZXMOTO a demanding environment in which to validate performance, reliability and handling. Those lessons support the continued development of the motorcycles offered to riders worldwide.
