A final-lap decision
Debise converted pole position into the early lead before the contest narrowed to a duel in the closing laps. He chose his moment on the final tour, completed the pass and protected the line to the chequered flag.
The victory followed his Race 1 success and completed a maximum-points weekend. Caricasulo also moved forward to tenth, giving the team two riders inside the top ten.
Five wins and growing ambition
The Czech double brought Debise to five victories for the season and second place in the riders’ standings. The factory team also rose to second in the team classification.
For a young programme, the result showed how quickly the 820RR and Evan Bros package had progressed from promising debutant to regular race winner.
